About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the websites and services run by Paideia Solutions Group LLC (“Paideia,” “we,” “us”). This includes the Paideia Portal at paideiaportal.com, our public appointment booking pages, the Benefit Center websites at pilot.paideiaportal.com, and our text message, email and phone communications (together, our “services”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.

Text messaging program: Paideia Benefits Messages

What it is. Paideia Benefits Messages is our text messaging program. If you opt in, we send text messages about benefits enrollment windows and deadlines, appointment confirmations and reminders, and information about the benefits your employer offers. You may also receive replies from the advisor helping you.

How you opt in. You opt in by checking the box to receive text messages when you book an appointment or fill in one of our forms, or in other ways we describe at the time you give us your mobile number. Your consent is not a condition of buying any product or service.

Message frequency varies. How many messages you get depends on your enrollment dates and appointments.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s normal rates apply to the messages you send and receive.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming that you have opted out, and no more texts after that unless you opt in again. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL, REVOKE or OPTOUT, or tell us in another reasonable way, such as by contacting us.

Opting back in. Reply START to receive texts again.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at support@paideiasolutions.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number. You agree to give us only a mobile number that you own or are allowed to use. If you change or give up that number, please tell us or reply STOP so the new owner of the number does not receive your messages.

Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including your mobile number.

Email

We may email you about enrollment, appointments and benefits. Each reminder or marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We may still send messages you need for a service you asked for, such as an appointment confirmation.

Phone calls

Your advisor may call you about your benefits or appointments from a Paideia phone number.

Call recording. We may record calls. If a call is recorded, we will tell you at the start of the call. By staying on a call after that notice, you agree to the recording. If you do not want the call recorded, tell your advisor, and we will stop recording or offer another way to help you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and keep recordings.

You can ask us to stop calling you at any time.

Booking pages

Our public booking pages let you schedule time with a benefits advisor. Please give accurate information. You can change or cancel your appointment using the link in your confirmation. We may cancel or reschedule an appointment if needed, and we will let you know.

Benefit Center websites

Benefit Center websites give general information about the benefits an employer offers. They are for information only. The plan documents, carrier contracts and your employer’s official benefits materials control your actual coverage. If a Benefit Center site and those documents disagree, the official documents apply.

The Paideia Portal

The Portal is for authorized users invited by Paideia, such as staff and advisors. If you have an account, keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You must use the Portal and any information in it only for your authorized work and as our policies and the law require. We may suspend or end access that breaks these Terms or puts our services or the information in them at risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use our services for anything unlawful or harmful;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data you are not allowed to access;
• interfere with or disrupt our websites or services, or introduce viruses or other harmful code;
• copy, scrape or resell our content or services without our written permission;
• give false information or pretend to be someone else.

No advice

Information on our websites and in our messages is general. It is not legal, tax or medical advice. Your advisor can help you understand your benefits options, but for legal, tax or medical questions, talk with a qualified professional about your own situation.

Our content

Our websites, text and design belong to Paideia or the people who license them to us. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Other websites

Our services may link to websites run by others, such as an insurance carrier or an enrollment platform. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Disclaimers

We work to keep our services available and accurate, but we provide them “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about them, including any implied promises that they are fit for a particular purpose or will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Paideia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our websites or messaging services. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under your benefit plans or under laws that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If you keep using our services after a change, the updated Terms apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about these Terms will be handled in the state courts located in Rutherford County, Tennessee, or the federal courts for the Middle District of Tennessee, unless the law requires otherwise.
